Robert Wynn was quite rich. He came from an important family who lived near Conwy.

When he was young, he went to London and served in the King's court. He also travelled in Europe. Then he came back to north Wales. When he was about 50 years old, he married a widow called Dorothy Griffith, and bought a house in Conwy for them to live in. |
