What was it like to live in Plas Mawr in Tudor times?

Plas Mawr was a big house with a lot of rooms. This was good, because a lot of people lived there! When Robert first built the house, he had no children. But then his wife died, and he married again. Robert and his second wife had seven children.

As well as Robert and his wife and children, there would have been servants living in the house. And there would often have been guests staying.

Here we can see the room which was probably used by Dorothy, Robert's wife.
